Coverage: Varies. International database of collections (including books, journals , dissertations, documents, and other materials) held by libraries worldwide. Maryland libraries that own copies of the items display at the top of the list of libraries so you can easily determine if local libraries own the material needed. Records of any type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. Includes manuscripts written as early as the 12th century. - ResearchPort
Provides access to a variety of information sources many of which include information on books (book reviews, chapters, etc.). Off-campus users must log on with a library barcode to see the full list of resources available. Many books are also available electonically.

Get Books not in Langsdale
There are two different systems for obtaining a book not owned by Langsdale. The process you need to go through depends on whether or not the book is in the University of Maryland System catalog.
- Check to see if the book in in the USMAI catalog.
- If YES
- You can request that a book from another USM library be sent to UB for you to check out.
- Click on the "request" button on the availability screen for that item. For more detailed instructions, see our guide.
- You may check the status of your request by going to the catalog and logging into your account.
- You can also go to other USM libraries your and check items out with your UB ID and library barcode.
- You can request that a book from another USM library be sent to UB for you to check out.
- If NO
- You can place your request through the the Langsdale Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Express system.
- You can also track your request through the Interlibrary Loan Express website.
- If YES
- To any of the services below, you need a Langsdale Library Barcode.
