Submitting Your Thesis to Langsdale
The University requires students to provide Langsdale Library with two copies of all Masters and Doctors thesis. The copies must include a sign-off page with the original signatures of the student’s dissertation committee to be considered an official copy. Library copies must be submitted on acid free paper (sometimes labeled “dissertation or thesis paper”) for preservation purposes. The left page margin should be one-quarter inch wider than normal to accommodate binding. Langsdale Library covers the cost of binding Langsdale copies.
If the student wants additional copies bound, the charge is $10 per copy by check in advance. The check should be payable to “University of Baltimore.” The bindery pickups materials every two weeks with a one month turnaround time.
