Mention Tutoring in your syllabus
Please mention tutoring services in your syllabus and encourage your students to either work as tutors or meet with a tutor. Use the following language in your syllabus to inform your students about tutoring services:
An Academic Success tutor may be available for this course, either on campus or online. All tutors have been recommended by a faculty member and receive ongoing training. Tutors can assist you with learning course content as well as computer skills. To get the most out of your session, come with specific goals and all relevant materials. To learn more or make an appointment, visit our website, or stop by our office in the lower level of the Robert L. Bogomolny Library.

Request a tutor for your class
Want to see your students get more out of your class? Ensure that a trained peer tutor is available to meet with them by requesting a tutor with expertise in your class. We provide tutoring for undergraduate or graduate classes. -
Recommend a student to work as a tutor
Have you taught a stand-out student in your class? If s/he received at least a B+ in your class (or a similar class), please recommend him/her to work as a tutor!
Our tutoring program is certified by the College Reading Language Association (CRLA) and all of our tutors receive extensive training.
