America: History and Life
What you’ll find here: Journal, magazine, and newspaper articles focusing on U.S. and Canadian history. It also includes records of conference presentations. It’s a good starting point for historical research, but many records are just bibliographic citations and do not offer the full text of the article.

Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) 1995-present: Searched by default by Web of Knowledge for items related to sociology, anthropology, criminology, religion, and politics.
Journal Citation Reports Social Science Edition: Evaluation of scholarly social science journals based the number of times they’ve been cited elsewhere. See tab at top of WOS screen..
