ABI Inform [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: 1970 - present. Indexes more than 1,300 journals on business, management, with 75% full-tex
t.

Business Source Premier [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: Varies– present. Business Source Premier provides full text for nearly 8,350 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,100 scholarly business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for more than 350 of the top scholarly journals dating as far back as 1922. Funded by the Maryland Digital Library (MDL). Includes company profiles, many of which contain SWOT analyses.

Communication & Mass Media Complete [on-campus]
Coverage: various dates. Provides the most robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. This database originated with the acquisition and subsequent merging of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association (NCA)), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State University). Communication & Mass Media Complete provides an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and educators interested in any and all aspects of communication and mass media. offers full text for over 200 titles and contains citation coverage for additional sources. In total, several hundred valuable sources are covered.

 

Criminal Justice Abstracts [on-campus]
Coverage:  1968 - present. Criminal Justice Abstracts indexes the major journals, books and governmental reports in the areas of criminology and related disciplines. Topics include crime trends, corrections, police, offenders, juvenile delinquency, courts, victims, and sentencing.

Criminal Justice Periodicals[on campus]
1981 to the present: Full-text coverage for 45 of the titles most frequently accessed by criminal justice researchers, and complete indexing and abstracts for another 140 relevant U.S. and international journals.

 

Lexis-Nexis Statistical [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: varies. Provides tabular statistics and citations for additional information in a wide variety of subjects. Includes Statistical Abstract of the United States and state, local, federal and statistics. Now includes Research Tables Statistical Edition with over 130,000 tables.

PAIS - Public Affairs Information Service  [on-campus]
Coverage: 1972 – present. Indexes 3600 journals, books, and government documents in the fields of political science, policy, public administration, society. 

PsycINFO  [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: 1887 – present. Indexes 1,300 Psychology journals from nearly 50 countries. Also includes abstracts for dissertations, books and book chapters. Same coverage as PsycLit.

PsycARTICLES [on campus]
This database provides full text articles on current issues in psychology from respected sources, spanning from 1987 to the present. PsycARTICLES includes more than 35,000 full-text articles from 49 journals published by American Psychological Association and allied organizations. All journals included in this database are indexed in PsycINFO.

Academic Search Premier  [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: 1990 - present. Provides full-text for over 3,400 scholarly journals covering the social sciences, humanities, education, sciences, and more. Funded by the Maryland Digital Library (MDL). Need help? Read the Academic Search Premier Visual Guide.

CQ Researcher [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: 1991 - present. Provides full text essays on social and political topics, including chronologies, overviews of issues, opposing viewpoints and bibliographies.

Lexis-Nexis Academic [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: 1970 - present. Features full text of many newspapers and periodicals.  Also offers business news, legal materials such as federal & state codes, case law and legal journals.

Academic Search Premier  [on-campus] [help]

WorldCat [on-campus] [help]
Coverage: Varies. International database of collections (including books, journals , dissertations, documents, and other materials) held by libraries worldwide. Maryland libraries that own copies of the items display at the top of the list of libraries so you can easily determine if local libraries own the material needed. Records of any type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. Includes manuscripts written as early as the 12th century.
