Citations for a few common types of sources are listed in this guide. For explanations and examples of how to cite other types of sources, please refer to the refer to the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (6th ed.) (Ref LB 2369 .G53 2003) or ask your instructor.
Note: Due to space constraints, the citations in this handout are not double-spaced. MLA style requires that the text of the paper and the references list must be double-spaced, and all lines after the first one should be indented.
