Langsdale Library is now closed to the public so that renovations on the first and second floors can be completed.

Even though the library is closed to the public, we will be busy working behind the scenes from January 2 - 10, and beyond, getting the library ready for the new semester. You can keep up with our progress on the renovation blog.

Langsdale Library will be closed to the public from Dec 18 - Jan 10 while the first and second floors undergo renovations. If you need to talk with Langsdale staff, we will still be in the building (or somewhere on campus) on Dec 18-19, Jan 2-5 and Jan 8-10. So you can still reach us via phone or email.

The Langsdale Library Interlibrary Loan Express will begin suspending its services for the semester at the close of business on Friday, December 8, 2006. Due to limited access to the library during scheduled renovations on the first and second floors, service will not resume until January 10, 2007. Any requests received after the following dates will be processed in January.

Books:
Suspension of book request processing will begin at the close of business 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2006, and will resume on Wednesday, January 10, 2007.

Copies:
Suspension of article request processing will begin at the close of business 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2006, and will resume on Wednesday January 10, 2007. EXCEPTION: We will continue to process article requests only for those items that can be obtained from a USMAI library until close of business Wednesday, December 13, 2006.

Langsdale will be closed for some holidays and all weekends during the winter break. We will be closed from Dec 22-Jan 2 and Jan 16.

Except as noted above, from Dec 19 - Jan 29 Langsdale will be open Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 6:00.
