Mintel
Market Reports
Mintel provides access to hundreds of reports on a variety of European,
UK-specific and US consumer markets. Each report that Mintel publishes
provides a unique overview of a market including its dynamics and prospects.
Visitors to the website can search by keyword or browse for relevant
publications by 'category'.
Note that academic users of this site must first agree to the academic
conditions of use. Then you must create and sign in using a profile
consisting of an email address and a password before you can see the
reports that are available.

History and Life
Coverage: 1964 - present. America: History and Life is a complete bibliographic
reference to the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory
to the present. The database comprises almost 400,000 bibliographic
entries from over 2,000 journals published worldwide.
Communication
& Mass Media Complete
Coverage: various dates. Provides the most robust, quality research
solution in areas related to communication and mass media. This database
originated with the acquisition and subsequent merging of two popular
databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch
(formerly produced by the National Communication Association (NCA)),
and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State
University). Communication & Mass Media Complete provides an invaluable
resource for students, researchers, and educators interested in any
and all aspects of communication and mass media. offers full text for
over 200 titles and contains citation coverage for additional sources.
In total, several hundred valuable sources are covered.

Abstracts
1954 to the present: Information on articles, books, and dissertations
about non-U.S. and non-Canadian history from 1450 to the present. Covers
more than 2000 journals in 50 languages. Includes links to full text
of selected journal articles.

Resource Center
Coverage: varies. Includes the series Contemporary Authors, Contemporary
Literary Criticism (CLC), and Dictionary of Literary Biography (DLB)
and full-text articles from 34 literary journals.

1981 to the present: Full-text coverage for 45 of the titles most
frequently accessed by criminal justice researchers, and complete indexing
and abstracts for another 140 relevant U.S. and international journals.
N.B. Criminal Justice Abstracts offers the most comprehensive indexing
to criminal justice research.
PsycARTICLES
This database provides full text articles on current issues in psychology
from respected sources, spanning from 1987 to the present. PsycARTICLES
includes more than 35,000 full-text articles from 49 journals published
by American Psychological Association and allied organizations. All
journals included in this database are indexed in PsycINFO.

Resource Center
The Biography Resource Center (BioRC) is a comprehensive database of
biographical information on over 320,000 people from throughout history,
around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. It combines
more than 400,000 biographies from over 800 volumes.
XRefer
Plus
Content available through xreferplus includes a wide range of general
reference titles together with a large collection of subject-specific
books spanning 20 topics, covering everything from the arts to astronomy,
