Welcome!

This inaugural issue of the Langsdale Library Link brings library news, information, and research tips to the University of Baltimore community. Langsdale's motto is "your link to learning," and this newspaper is another effort in our mission to inform our constituents about library resources and services offered to you.

Each Fall and Spring semester, an online issue of the Link will tell you about new books, videos, and databases and introduce you to library staff members. We will cover issues in scholarly communications, such as copyright, web resources, and library use in distance education courses.

As the new Library Director, and my 20 year service to UB, I've come to appreciate the service-minded staff and join them in wanting to get the word out about what we can do with you and for you to make the educational process richer and more effective, The Langsdale Library Link newsletter is one more way for us to bring the library to you.
