Renew That Library Card
In order to borrow materials from Langsdale Library and access our databases from off-campus (through ResearchPort), you need to have an active library account. Student accounts expire each semester, so even if you have used your library card before, you need to get it renewed if you want to access all of Langdale's databases from home.
Once you obtain a UB ID (that has been updated for the current semester) you can obtain your barcode/renew your barcode in one of three ways:
- Go to the circulation desk on the first floor at any time the library is open and complete a borrower registration form.
- Use the online borrower registration form to request a barcode or to update your existing barcode.
- After the first few weeks of the semester, you may e-mail your request to langcirc@ubalt.edu. Please include your name, address, phone number, ss# and student status. Once you have been verified as a current student, we will e-mail you back with your barcode and password information.
