Wire-Less Is More at Langsdale
by Steve Labash
Thanks to the assistance of Provost Wim Wiewel, the staff of the University’s
Office of Technology Services, and the work of the staff of Langsdale
Library, we are happy to report that Langsdale Library will have building-wide
access to wireless services by the end of the Spring, 2005, semester.
Keep an eye on the Library Web Page to learn
when wireless installation is complete. It’s another example of
the University’s commitment to providing the best technology for
our students, faculty, and staff.
Wireless service was installed on campus in the Fall of 2004. Students,
faculty and staff can already access the Internet with their wireless
devices on the first floor of Langsdale Library and the Law School. For
more information see UB's wireless
FAQ.
