Historical Note:
The Center for Poverty Solutions was formed in 1998, through the merger of Action for the Homeless and the Maryland Food Committee. These organizations came together to take a holistic approach to the war on poverty. Financial problems forced CPS to cease operation in 2005.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by the Center for Poverty Solutions in 2005.
