Historical Note:
The General Society of Colonial Wars was founded in 1892, comprised of male descendants of men who rendered military or civil service to the American colonies between 1607 and 1775. The society is also engaged in historical research and educational programming.
Custodial History:
The collection was deposited at the University of Baltimore on March 8, 1988 by Gustave Adolph Heckscher, GSCW Governor General.
