Historical Note:
After working in public relations for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Peabody Institute, Don Spatz began his long career in radio in the mid-1950s as an announcer for WBAL-AM. His early morning radio program ran until his retirement in 1984.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by the Estate of H. Donald Spatz in May 1999.
