Historical Note:
The Mount Washington Preservation Trust, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1989 to promote land conservation and protect natural spaces in the northwest corridor of Baltimore City, primarily through preservation easements. Volunteers maintain approximately 20 community gardens, including the Mount Washington Arboretum, a one-acre project started in 1999.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by Robert D. Feinstein, MWPT Secretary, on January 25, 2002.
