Historical Note:
Patricia McDonald submitted her PhD dissertation, "Baltimore Women: 1870-1900," to University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1976. This collection represents the research materials she created and collected while producing that dissertation.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Maryland's Hornbake Library in 1977 and transferred to the University of Baltimore's Langsdale Library in 2003.
