Scope and Contents:  
Correspondence, speeches, articles, newspaper clippings, and legislation related to the issue of urban renewal at the municipal, state, and national levels.

Historical Note:  
This collection was created by Ann and Bill McCloskey, who were involved with the Bolton Hill Homeowners' Association and the fight for neighborhood preservation. This area was part of Baltimore City's urban renewal efforts during the 1960s.

Custodial History:  
In 1994 Ann McCloskey donated the files to University of Baltimore Foundation via Dr. Michael P. McCarthy, who was Director of the University's Baltimore History Project.
