Historical Note:
The Waterfront Coalition was a grassroots umbrella organization representing the interests of nine homeowner and business groups concerned about development of the waterfront in the Baltimore City neighborhoods of Fells Point, Canton, and Butchers Hill. Political discussions the Coalition became involved with included the redevelopment of the American Can Company complex in Canton and the construction of the Wyndham Hotel in Inner Harbor East.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by Carolyn Boitnott in 2005.
