Because awesome games and digital art don't make themselves.
The Langsdale Game Collection and Digital Design Lab was created to support the instructional and research needs of the Simulation and Digital Entertainment program, the School of Communications Design, and other units of the University of Baltimore. It also supports the Digital Designers Guild and other official student organizations with game related activities.
Currently access to the collection is limited by appointment to registered users only. In the future we hope to expand availability to other members of the UB Community.
The Digital Design Lab also features several high-powered PCs and iMacs, with a suite of professional design applications. Use of these computer resources are available to all current members of the UB community during regular library hours, without appointment. The needs of current students in the Simulation and Digital Entertainment and Communications Design programs, however, will take precedence.
