Our mission at Langsdale Library is to encourage research and creativity. Alumni Authors celebrates the writing, research and publishing accomplishments of UB alumni. This event is also a chance to show that research and writing doesn’t stop at graduation. We are inspired by the research and creative work of the UB community and encourage those with great ideas to find a path to publication. Alumni Authors is free and will take place in the Langsdale Library Auditorium.
Meet and greet
Starting at 7 p.m., enjoy light refreshments and chance to informally mingle with alumni (including our alumni authors), faculty, staff and students to discuss writing, research and the creative process. This is your chance to find out from authors what it took to get from point A to point B, and the challenges and successes along the way.
Attending Alumni Authors
Copies of their publications and/or ordering information will be available at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore table at the event.
