No Parking, No Problem: Save Time and Travel with Langsdale
by April Duncan, Delores Redmond, Robert Shindle and Tami Smith
Have you found yourself thinking these thoughts?
There aren’t enough hours in the day…I’m pulled in so many directions!
I need to get something to eat before class.
I can’t find a parking space, and I have class in five minutes.
And now, you may think:
I have to research this project, but there’s NO WAY I’m paying $4 for parking just to go to the Library!
We all have those days when every second counts. Your draft is due today. You haven’t read the chapter you’ll be discussing. We understand. Click on the links below to see how the library can save you time…and parking fees.
In order to take advantage of many of these time savers, you must have a library barcode. You need to renew your library barcode each semester.

Special Collections
"Docs on Demand"
If you find a document on Langsdale’s Special Collections (http://archives.ubalt.edu/) , you may not have to come in to the library to look at it. As part of our "Documents on Demand" program, our staff can digitize many documents in our collections. Candidates for digitization are documents that are not oversized, that contain a reasonable number of pages and that have clear copyrights.
Fill out the Research Request Form on the Special Collections website and we will let you know by return e-mail if digitization is possible. If it is possible to digitize the document we will let you know when it has been reformatted as a pdf file, usually within the week. A permanent link to that file will then appear on the webpage where you found it listed. (To view documents you will need to download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.)
