588 glass plate negatives and photographic prints, and a scrapbook of the 1904 Baltimore fire compiled by Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Briscoe
Historical Note:
The collection was assembled by Nathan Mash, a Baltimore meat packer who developed a method for curing low salt content ham. Mr. Mash served as a member of the Board of Trustees when the University of Baltimore was a private university.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by Nathan Mash in 1977.
