Historical Note:
Founded in the early 1970s during the political struggle over highway construction through Baltimore City, SECO was an umbrella community organization that represented the interests of residents in Fells Point, Canton, Highlandtown, and other southeast communities. The organization disbanded in 2008.
Custodial History:
The collection was donated to the University of Baltimore by SECO President, Marie Francfort, on February 17, 1995.
